Despite their advanced age, Mr. Thanh and his wife have been sewing clothes with a sewing machine for many years, earning a modest income. Despite the meager income from their sewing and their children's meager incomes, refurbishing their deteriorating house seemed impossible. Even replacing the old roof was a challenge for Mr. Thanh's family. Understanding this, Pomina Flat-Steel quickly presented the family with a dream house - a small but practical and extremely meaningful gift in the approaching rainy season.
