PO Production Process - Pickled and Oiled Steel

• Step 1: Pickling: Hot rolled steel coils will be passed through a pickling line to remove the rust layer adhered to the steel surface.
• Step 2: Oiling: After the hot rolled coil steel has completely dried, the product is cleaned and coated with an additional layer of oil to protect the surface.

Advantages of Picking Oil HRC

Due to being pickled and oiled, this type of steel has many advantages:

• Ensures product quality: Because it has undergone the pickling process, PO hot rolled coil steel is well preserved when stored. When used, the steel quality is still ensured, not affecting the quality of concrete or the quality of subsequent paint layers.
• Increased adhesion between steel reinforcement and paint coating: Since the surface has been cleaned, the adhesion between steel reinforcement and paint coating is also better.
• Enhances aesthetics of the finished product: The steel surface has a certain degree of reflectivity, making it more aesthetically pleasing compared to regular hot rolled coil steel.
