Ang Cang commune, Muong Ang district is located in the east of Dien Bien province, an area with rugged mountainous terrain where infrastructure is lacking, roads are undeveloped, and the people face extreme poverty and hardship. In this place, children from the village have had to study in makeshift classrooms, perched precariously against the mountain cliffs.
Cultural performance on the groundbreaking day of Pu Kho Kindergarten construction by teachers and students
With the support of the Department of Education and Training of Muong Ang district, the "Sheltering Dream" project led by Pomina Flat Steel in collaboration with Architecture 1+1>2 Company and other sponsors, decided to build Pu Kho Kindergarten under Hua Nsong Kindergarten, in Ang Cang commune. The kindergarten was built on an area of 700m2, consisting of 2 classrooms, 1 office, 1 kitchen, and a system of toilets.
Overcoming difficulties and hardships, the construction team in the village remained united, working together to complete the project.
Pu Kho Kindergarten uses Pomina AZ50 white milk color cold rolled steel roofing with foam insulation
To withstand the harsh weather, prolonged rain, and hot summer sun, we chose Pomina AZ50 white milk color cold rolled steel for the roofing of the project. This type of steel is cool, high quality, and suitable for the unique climate of the northern mountainous region.
After over 2 months of construction, the school construction project has been handed over for use. The inauguration ceremony was held ceremoniously with the joy and happiness of the villagers, parents, and teachers of the school.
From now on, students in Pu Kho village can study in clean, sturdy classrooms with full amenities, and teachers can work confidently in a solid, weatherproof school building.
Furthermore, the schoolyard has a spacious roofed area for activities, always cool and clean, with a solid perimeter wall ensuring safety for children to comfortably study or play during break times.
The new school building is solid, sturdy, and airy
Not only spreading the message of sharing love, and supporting poor students to experience the joy of going to school, but the Sheltering Dream project has, is, and will continue to nurture dreams for many poor students in difficult areas, giving them a brighter and more open future.
Pomina Flat Steel sincerely thanks all the units that have accompanied us through each sponsored project to build school buildings, joining hands to create conditions for underprivileged students to attend school and dream of becoming the future owners of the country.
The current Sheltering Dream project has received a lot of attention, contributions, and positive feedback from viewers across the country. This is an immensely encouraging source of motivation for Pomina Flat Steel to continue confidently and wholeheartedly developing this project.
