LUNG VAI KINDERGARTEN & ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

The Lung Vai School - a project awarded the "Project of the Year" at the Ashui Awards 2022.

According to The Architecture Office 1+1>2, the Kindergarten and Primary School Point in Lung Vai are built in the high mountains, cold winds in Minh Tan commune, Vi Xuyen district, Ha Giang province, the living place of the Mong ethnic group

The school point, designed by the Architecture Office 1+1>2, was constructed with funding from the charity of AA Corporation Architecture Construction Joint Stock Company (Ho Chi Minh City), covering an area of 600m2, including 3 classrooms, 1 teacher's rest area, 1 kitchen, bathrooms, a playground, and learning materials.

The project utilizes various local materials combined with scientific and technical applications to improve the quality and sustainability of the materials. The school uses filled soil for leveling the ground, mixed with black soil and additives for the walls.

The roof is constructed with steel frames, using : Pomina pre-painted hot dip aluminium-zinc coated steeel coil 3-layer sheets with high durability, providing sun and rain protection, good insulation, ensuring transportation on hilly terrain, and harmonizing with the scenery.
