1. What is Hot Dip Galvanized Steel Coil (GL)?
Pomina hot dip galvanized steel coil is a galvanized cold-rolled coil, which possessing high anti-corrosion properties in the natural environment. Structure includes:
• Steel grade: G300 – G550
• Zinc coating: Z80 to Z275 depending on requirements
2. Technology and production process
Pomina hot dip galvanized steel coil is produced at Phu My 1 Factory – where the advanced galvanized steel production line from Tenova – Italy is integrated, achieving high automation, controlling the quality of the galvanized layer accurately to each micron.
The hot dip galvanized steel coil production process starts from cold rolled coil through the galvanized steel line with the steps of cleaning the surface, annealing in the NOF furnace to change the mechanical properties of the steel. After that, they are plated with a layer of zinc according to the principle of hot-dip galvanizing with air knife technology and finally covered with an additional layer of anti-oxidation surface protection such as chromium.
