Continuing its humanitarian values and commitment to community sharing, Pomina Flat Steel donated a “Dream Home” to the family of Ms. Huynh Thi Tuyet Mai, which residing in Ward 3, District 11 to help alleviate some of their difficulties.
Representatives from Pomina Flat Steel and the Ho Chi Minh City Women’s Association visited Mrs. Mai’s family.
Only by experiencing her situation firsthand, interacting with her, sharing her story, and listening to her, did we truly understand the difficulties and obstacles she was facing. After an accident where a vehicle fell on her, causing a fractured pelvis, this bone and joint problem has affected her life for many years. The pain intensifies when the weather changes, and her mobility is so limited that she cannot find additional work, even basic daily activities at home are difficult. Therefore, her income depends entirely on her children, who work as factory workers far away and only return occasionally.
Besides that, Mrs. Mai also takes care of her granddaughter who is of school age. The living space is quite cramped, the roof is rusty and leaky in many places, but her cheerful face is the best medicine that helps her overcome daily difficulties with the strongest possible spirit.
The “Love Life” program is supported by the Ho Chi Minh City Women’s Association and Pomina Flat Steel.
In partnership with Pomina Flat Steel Company, the Ho Chi Minh City Women’s Charity Association, the People’s Committee of Ward 3, and Ho Chi Minh City Television Station share their desire to help disadvantaged families and bring a dream home to Ms. Mai’s family. This small gift from Pomina Steel is hoped to further boost Ms. Tuyet Mai’s optimism, so that smiles and happiness will always shine in her small but sturdy and enduring home.
The support we receive today is not just about providing shelter from the rain and sun; it also carries immense spiritual value, symbolizing warm human kindness, and will forever remain in our hearts.
